This year's celebration of women's month with the theme "Pagtataguyod ng katatagan sa gitna ng mga pagsubok ng mga panahon" was participated by different offices and institutions including Concepcion Vocational School. The event started on March 15-23 with different activities such as fun run, film showing, tree planting, opening of tiangge, livelihood seminars, job fair and concert/ballroom dancing.
On March 20 (Tuesday), CVS conducted a free livelihood training seminar on Food Processing particularly on hamburger patties and chicken nuggets making. The program started with a talk from Prof. Alvin L. Yturralde who introduced the different TESDA and CVS programs to the participants. Then, the demonstration of skills commenced with the trainer, Prof. Lerma P. Llorente.
The participants showed excitement and enthusiasm while watching the demonstration. Questions were raised which were answered quickly by the trainer. There was also a product taste test after the demonstration.The program ended successfully, especially when Tarlac Vice-Governor Pearl Angeli Pacada arrived and gave her short message to the participants.
